Storm Eowyn is expected to cause severe disruption to the railway on Friday 24th January. We are advising customers DO NOT TRAVEL between Newcastle and Edinburgh as the route will be closed and there are no alternative travel arrangements in place for safety reasons throughout Friday 24th January. Customer tickets for Lumo services can be used on any Lumo service Thurs 23rd Jan or Mon 27th Jan – Please note Lumo services are not running south of Newcastle Sat 25th and Sun 26th Jan due to engineering works, for more details please visit our engineering works page.
